Manually Adding Events to a Dispatch Order |

If a driver is not able to use the delivery app to capture any of the dispatch order’s milestones, the dispatcher can add these events through the Portal interface.
Take note that for the PHASE ALPHA release, the dispatcher will be required to manually add the ‘UNLOADED’ event (after the trailer has been emptied at a location). This is the event that triggers the trailer to be made available for dispatch from the last facility/POD entered and removes the dispatch order’s reference numbers (PRO#, Task Order#, Load Sequence#, etc). In the next major release, the UNLOADED event can be captured by the driver on the delivery mobile app.

Identify the transport order that requires events to be manually updated |
- From the home page, ensure you are in your preferred view of the Arrive table and have filtered on your requirements (refer to Create & Share Views in Arrive Screen and Arrive Screen Filters and Navigating Facilities).
- Sort the transport orders as required to locate those orders that need to be updated (i.e. by Created Date, Scheduled Delivery Date, etc.). Contact your administrator on guidance to configure your view if you are not already using a shared view.
- Alternatively, you can search by the trailer number and/or the transport order in the key word search field located in the upper left-hand corner.

Open the Events Window |
- Click on the kebab menu icon (vertical ellipsis) located on the left side of the transport order number. Then click on “Add Event”. This will open the Add Event window

Enter milestone details |
- Input all fields that have an asterisk:
- Event Type – drop down selection of events
- Event Location – drop down of the origin and destination locations as stored in order’s record
- Event Date/Time – manually input date and time or choose through the date and time picker by clicking on the calendar icon.
- Time zone – defaults to local time based on your time zone that is selected at the time of user registration
- Comments – free text input that needs to be stored in order’s record
- Loader Name – free text input if this applicable and should be stored in order’s record
- If you are manually entering a DELIVERED event, you will be prompted to provide the mandatory and optional photos required for the shipment, based on the applied shipment profile. Example below:
- Click on the blue “SAVE” button to save the milestone and the latest status will be displayed under the “Shipment Status” column.
- Repeat for each milestone that should be captured.

View milestones in single shipment view |
- You will be able to view the milestones in the single shipment view by clicking on the kebab menu icon and then selecting, “View more info” (the first menu item)
- This will open a new web page that displays the single shipment view (refer to View Single Shipment work instructions). Under Event Timeline, you will be able to view the milestones with timestamps by user.
